How to change your laptop/Microsoft password

Step 1: Open the Security Options Menu

On your keyboard, press Ctrl + Alt + Delete.

Step 2: Select “Change a password”

From the blue menu that appears, click Change a password.

Step 3: Enter Your New Password

Enter your old password in the first box, your new password in the second box, and retype your new password in the third box. Finally, click the arrow button to confirm.

Password requirements:

• Must be at least 8 characters long

• Must contain at least 1 special character

• Must contain at least 1 uppercase and 1 lowercase letter

• Must contain at least 1 number

• Passwords expire every 90 days
