Restoring Access to a Completed Return in GoSystem Tax RS
Overview
If a tax return in GoSystem is marked complete and a completion date was clicked, you may no longer be able to access the form. In this situation, an administrator must manually undo the completion date to restore access to the return.
Prerequisites
Access to an administrator or support team that can update return completion status.
The client name associated with the return.
The locator number for the return.
Steps for End Users
Identify the client name for the tax return that can no longer be accessed.
Locate the return’s locator number.
Contact your administrator or support team.
Provide the client name and the return’s locator number so they can find the return and revert the completion status.
Steps for Administrators
Administrators must manually undo the completion date on the affected return. After the completion date is undone, access to the form should be restored.
Expected Outcome
Once the administrator undoes the completion date, access to the form should be restored, and the return should be available again to users who need to work on it.
