Side-By-Side Configuration Error

If you're getting an error like this:

Open Control Panel and click:

Find "Google Chrome" and click "Uninstall"

After uninstalled, re-download chrome here.

Be sure to change the "file type" to "MSI":

Simply download and install. All bookmarks and profiles will still be there.

If Chrome still won't open after reinstallation:

1. Restart your computer and try again
2. If the issue persists, try deleting the Chrome user profile located in the %appdata% folder, which can resolve persistent issues

Don't worry about your bookmarks - if they appear to be missing after fixing the error, try closing and reopening Chrome. Your bookmarks and profiles should be restored automatically.
