Setting up PaperStream for SurePrep

Start with downloading the setup file for paperstream located here:
L:\Packages\Drivers\Fujitsu\PaperSteam\PSCapturePro\PSCSetup.exe

Then download this updater to downgrade to the correct version:

Follow these instructions to import a SurePrep Profile for Fujitsu-fi-7160 and 7260 with PaperStream capture 2.5.0 :

To check if you have the proper PaperStream Capture version, click the Menu icon and then click About.

On the About window, read the title to verify it as PaperStream Capture version 2.5.0.

Import SurePrep profile settings

The SurePrep profile.CAB file is a pre-built profile with the required settings.

Click here to download the SurePrep profile.CAB file.

Note: SurePrep profile.cab file is compatible with PaperStream Capture 2.5. If you have an older version, then please upgrade it first with the link above and then perform Import.

On the Taskbar, click the Windows icon. Click PaperStream Capture, and then click Importer.

When the PaperStream Capture – Importer window appears, click Browse.

Navigate to the path where you downloaded the profile. Click SurePrep Profile.CAB, and then click Open.

The file name and path will appear in File. Click Add, and then click Run.

A progress bar appears during the import process. When the import is complete, click OK on the PaperStream Capture window.

You should now see the SurePrep Profile icon appear on PaperStream Capture. You can use this profile to scan documents for SurePrep binders.
