Problem:
- I no longer see the "Teams Meeting" add-in inside of my Outlook
- Teams Meeting is missing from my Outlook
- "Join Teams Meeting" is missing from my Outlook
Solution:
Option 1: Check Add-in Settings
- First, check if the Teams Meeting add-in is enabled in Outlook:
- Open Outlook and go to the settings section
- Locate the add-ins section
- Find the Microsoft Teams Meeting add-in and ensure it is enabled
- If you cannot find the enable option, you may need to contact your IT administrator for assistance
Option 2: Run Microsoft Support Troubleshooter
- Open up Google Chrome and head to this address:
- Heading to this link will automatically download the Microsoft Troubleshooter to your laptop.
- Click on that download to open and run it.
- You'll eventually get to this screen asking if you want to Install. Select Install
- Click I Agree
- Follow through the prompts and upon completion, you will have this add-in back inside of outlook again.
Troubleshooting Teams Installation Issues:
If Microsoft Teams fails to install on your computer, try these troubleshooting steps:
- Attempt downloading both 32-bit and 64-bit versions of the application
- Check and clear temporary file locations
- Perform a full repair of Office, which may resolve installation conflicts
